An agricultural and business survey/research project will be conducted by Soburu Banchang Gausu (BSc), Gideon Mensah Commey (BSc) and Sebbie Ebenezer (enrolled in Cape Coast Polytechnic) on the best way to manage agricultural production in Larabanga and how to channel that production in order to yield the greatest economic returns for the community. The study will look at the development of local cooperatives such as a Shea butter initiative that would employ local women and allow them to manage their project.
Business and architectural plans are underway to construct a new head office and student resource centre for FOUSER. Zuobog Philip Neri is the Chief Executive Officer of FOUSER and heads the projects conducted in the upper west region. Students in the Lawra, Lambussie and Jirapa district have very restricted access to computers, research materials and extracurricular support. Thus, FOUSER plans to fill the educational gap by providing these services from the new office facility.
Protein malnutrition is prevalent in the Northern and Upper West Region. The Afri-Can Connection is designing a demonstration rabbit farm project that will enable residents in FECHFOUND and FOUSER communities to be employed and manage the farms. The benefits of this are multifaceted, namely the short gestational and maturation periods of the rabbits which will allow for an inexpensive alternative for the sale of meat products within the local community.

Men, women and children are at risk of developing parasitic infections such as guinea worm from the water unless a cleaner, sustainable water source is established. Find out more...
